Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to Opportunity Activation at oppactivation.com, operated by Third Party Learning Limited trading as Opportunity Activation. By using the platform you agree to these Terms.

1. Platform scope

Opportunity Activation connects learners with verified programmes, scholarships, jobs, grants, accelerators, events, fellowships and funding; supports applications, enrolment, Academy learning and certification; and enables mobiliser referral attribution with commissions after institution-confirmed qualifying outcomes.

2. Learner accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep credentials secure. Submitting an application or expression of interest does not guarantee admission, funding, employment or any outcome.

3. Listings and institutions

• Institutions are responsible for accuracy, authorization and lawful handling of applications.
• Institution confirmation of enrolment or other qualifying outcomes drives commission eligibility.
• We may moderate, reject or remove listings that violate policy or law.

4. Mobilisers

• Attribution follows the published mobiliser campaign attribution policy (including UTM and Meta click IDs).
• A Meta lead, click, WhatsApp conversation or Pixel event is not a verified enrolment and does not create commission.
• Fraudulent referrals, self-referral abuse or misrepresentation may result in forfeiture and termination.
• Payouts follow commission ledger rules and settlement processes (including the configured payment provider for commerce).

5. Payments

Payments via M-Pesa or other mobile-money payment providers are subject to those providers' terms. Fees, refunds and cancellations follow the programme or order terms disclosed at checkout.

6. Messaging and advertising measurement

We may send WhatsApp/email/SMS service messages. Marketing messages and Meta advertising technologies require separate consent. Third-party platform terms (including Meta) also apply when you interact with those services.

7. Academy

Academy access, assessment integrity, certification and learning IP are governed by course-specific rules and these Terms. Certification does not guarantee employment or admission elsewhere.

8. Acceptable use and fraud

You may not scrape, attack, spam, impersonate others, circumvent access controls, or manipulate attribution or commission systems.

9. Intellectual property

Platform branding, software and content are owned by Third Party Learning Limited or licensors. Institution content remains the property of respective institutions.

10. Suspension

We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach, fraud risk or legal requirement.

11. Disclaimer and liability

The platform is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Disputes shall be subject to the courts of Kenya.
